This bronze ring features a beautiful piece of a dark rainbow mussel shell collected from the beaches of northwest Washington, set in a slightly hammered band with a brushed satin texture. Size 7.
This ring is completely hand fabricated from recycled bronze. To do this, I melt my bronze in a crucible, and pour it into an iron mold. I then mill the bronze to create wire and thin sheet. I hand saw my mussel shell to the desired shape, and set it in a bronze bezel.
